£650 - £750 per day outside IR35

Midlands / Hybrid

3-6 Months

We are working with a private equity-backed business pursuing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, which is currently undertaking a debt raise to support its next phase of growth. The business is seeking an experienced interim professional from a transaction services, corporate finance or transaction advisory background to provide hands-on support throughout the debt-raising process.

The Role

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide analytical and transaction-focused support throughout the debt raise, helping to ensure the business is well prepared for engagement with lenders and other external parties.

Key responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Supporting the debt-raising process, including financial analysis, information preparation and transaction-related deliverables.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial models, forecasts and supporting analysis to facilitate lender discussions and financing decisions.
  • Coordinating financial information and responding to requests from lenders, advisers and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting due diligence and ensuring the business is well prepared for external scrutiny.
  • Working with the wider finance team to improve the quality, consistency and presentation of financial information.
  • Providing broader finance support where required, helping to strengthen financial processes and reporting as the business continues to scale.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who can quickly add value in a fast-moving, private equity-backed environment.

You are likely to have:

  • A background in transaction services, transaction advisory, corporate finance or a similar deal-focused environment.
  • Experience supporting debt raises, financing transactions, financial due diligence or lender-facing processes.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and commercial skills.
  • The ability to work with complex financial information and translate it into clear, actionable outputs.
  • The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
